Troubleshoot a computer power issue

Your PC is encountering one of the following issues and you need to troubleshoot it:
- PC is displaying the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD).
- PC is frozen.
- PC is displaying a solid black screen with a moveable cursor.
- The power button on the PC has a light but the PC will not boot.
PROCESS
- Shut down the computer by holding the power button until the computer powers off (this will take between 5-10 seconds). The LED indicator light will go dark.
- Unplug the computer’s AC power adapter cable from the back of the PC.
- While the computer is off, hold the power button down again for an additional 20 seconds. During these 20 seconds, wait for the residual electricity to completely drain from the PC.
- Reconnect the AC adapter power cable back into the PC.
- Turn the computer ON and check if it boots through to the desktop without issues.
