Power drain the battery:
- Unlock the battery and completely remove it from the tablet, set it aside.
- With the battery set aside, push, and hold the Power button for 30 seconds.
-
NOTE: This drains the internal components of any latent electricity (power).
- Grab the battery you set aside, install it in the tablet, and lock in place.
- Test to verify if the tablet stays powered on.
Check internal battery:
- Plug the tablet into an outlet with its provided power cord.
- Turn the tablet on and test
- If the tablet does NOT work, it is the lock or battery.
- Try a different battery - shown next - if the tablet works then issue is the battery
- If tablet does NOT work then the lock is faulty. Contact Mister IT to process an RMA for the tablet.

Try Another Battery
- Remove current battery from tablet.
- Install a new battery.
- The battery will slide in at an angle. Once it is seated flat, push it in the remainder of it.
- Once the battery is installed and the battery cover is slide over, the color latches can be engaged.
- All 3 latches must be green to fully lock the battery - See Below
Test to verify if tablet stays powered on.
- The Mister Tablet battery latches are designed in a way that if the center latch shows green, there is a magnet that will trigger a switch that tells the Mister Tablet that the latches are secure.
- If this middle switch is red, the Mister Tablet will shut the screen off.
- This allows for hot swapping of the batteries and the backup battery takes over power.
-
NOTE: The Mister Tablet screen will not come on unless the middle latch is green.
-

- The Mister Tablet screen should turn on as shown:
Verify the Correct Power Supplies are being Used
Attempt to Power on the Tablet from the Cradle Without a Battery
- Remove the battery from the tablet but replace the back plate and lock it in place.

- Place the tablet on the cradle and wait for the cradle lights to illuminate that indicate the tablet is properly seated.
- Attempt to power on from the cradle. Please allow the tablet 10-20 seconds to power on. If the tablet powers on, allow it to boot all the way to Windows before removing it from the cradle and inserting a battery. The power issues should now be resolved if you were able to power on from the cradle.
