PURPOSE

This document provides the steps necessary to setup a HP LaserJet Pro M225 printer at a store.  

PROCESS

1. On the printer press the OK button once.
   • 
2. Press the wrench button once. 
   • 
3. Press the left arrow button next to the OK button twice. 
   • 
4. Press the OK button. 
   • 
5. Press the OK button, then press the right arrow button three times. 
   • 
6. Press the OK button, then type in the IP address.
   • 
7. Press the OK button
   • 
8. Press the OK button again, type in the “Subnet Mask” shown below, then press the OK button twice.
   • 
9. The display should read “Default Gateway”. Type in the gateway address you were given and press the OK button twice
   • 
10. The display should change to look like the image below. 
    • 
11. This means the settings have been saved and the printer is properly configured.
