How to identify the DRB XPT Kiosk screen model

PURPOSE

Explain how to identify if an XPT 1.5 display screen is from Mitsubishi or Kyocera and includes a list of parts needed during installation.

PROCESS

Open the XPT kiosk
On the back of the door locate the Display I/O Board
Look on the Display I/O, toward the hinge of the door for a series of small bundled white cables
Follow this out from behind the display I/O cover plate into the body of the XPT.
Next, look for a separate board that is above the main display I/O board.
Mitsubishi Board - If both the white cables and secondary circuit board are present
Kyocera Board - If neither are present
