WIFI - HOW TO INSTALL NETSPOT

Netspot is used to conduct a WIFI site survey. This document outlines the proper way to install Netspot on a Windows computer.

In a web browser of choice, navigate to https://netspotapp.com
Click “Get Netspot” in the top right corner.
Scroll down and click “download now” in the “Netspot FREE Edition” box
The download will automatically start.
After Netspot has been downloaded
Open the Downloads folder on your computer
Double-click on “Netspot.exe” to run it.
If you receive a blue prompt reading “Windows protected your PC”
1. Click “more info”.
2. Click the newly revealed “Run Anyway” in the bottom right corner.
When the setup guide appears
Click “Next”. Netspot will install and launch.
Schedule an appointment with Mister IT to have them license your copy of Netspot and get the recommended settings loaded.
