PURPOSE

When you record a Microsoft Teams meeting, it is set to expire after a certain amount of time and others may not be able to access it. This document explains how to move a Microsoft Teams meeting recording to a folder in Microsoft Teams , so it does not expire, and others are able to access it.

PROCESS

1. Click the OneDrive icon (blue cloud) on the bottom left corner of your desktop and select “View Online”.

2. On the left side panel, click “My files”. 
3. Then, open the Recordings folder.
   • NOTE: If you do not see the Recordings folder, it may be in your Pictures folder.
   • 
4. Select the meeting recording that needs to be moved. 
5. Click “Move to” on the top.
   • 
6. On the left side panel, select the Microsoft Teams Team you would like to move it to. 
7. Then, find the folder you want it stored in. 
8. Click “Move here”.

9. Your meeting recording has been moved.
