Definitions and Common Names

This list of definitions aims to establish a common language between Team IT and Field team members.

Green = Precise enough to eliminate any ambiguity.
Red = leads to confusion or inaccuracies.

Mister IT Ordering

For Legacy DRB parts Mister IT will replace them with the Micrologic equivalent as they are no longer available for purchase.
Please reference the Guide: RFID - HOW TO MOUNT AND WIRE AN RFID READER ON A KIOSK that explains how to replace the Serial Cable with Power and Cat5e cables.

Hotshop Ordering

Mister IT is to handle ordering any configurable component, including the RFID Reader.
- NOTE: This includes the parts listed as Mister IT in "Order From" sections above.
Facilities or operations may order any replacement component as necessary, that is not listed to order from Mister IT.
