How to configure Oracle VPN
PURPOSE This document explains how to add and use the Amazon Web Services (AWS) VPN configuration to access Oracle. VIDEO PROCESS Navigate to the VPN Portal Link. Sign in with your Mister Car Wash email and password. Download the Endpoint ID config and the AWS Client VPN for Windows. In your computer’s Downloads folder, search for the AWS_VPN_Client installer and run it. NOTE: If you receive an Auto Elevate prompt asking you for admin permissions, contact Mister IT to approve your request to install the application. Select the box to accept the terms in the License Agreement and click Install. Click Yes when asked if you want to allow this app to make changes to your device. Click Finish Once it has been installed, open the AWS VPN Client App. Go to File, then click Manage Profiles, and select Add Profile. In the Display Name section, type in MCW-OracleVPN. In the VPN Configuration file section, click on the folder icon. Then, browse to your computer’s Downloads folder and import the file named cvpn-endpoint-0947239bba6801766.ovpn. Then, click Add Profile Click Done. Click Connect. Sign in with your Mister Car Wash email and password. You are connected. Open the Oracle website to verify that you are connected. How to install Java for Oracle
PURPOSE This document explains how to download and install Java 8 for Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS). This will allow certain accounting team members to utilize forms in EBS. If this is not completed, the forms section will not launch properly. PROCESS Navigate to the Java Website and click on “download Java” Double click the file to begin the installation. Click yes on the admin elevation window that appears. This will send the installation request to Mister IT to be approved. After it has been approved by Mister IT, click OK to launch the application Click Install If necessary, click Uninstall to remove your old Java version. Click Next to continue the installation. Click next again to continue the installation. Java has been successfully installed. Click Close Search Configure Jave in the windows search bar and click the configure java app. Once the configure java app opens, click the security tab Click Edit Site List Click Add Enter Https://Oracleprd.mistercarwash.com/ and click OK. Click OK to complete the configuration. How to configure Excel for Oracle Web ADI
PURPOSE Excel needs to be configured to use Oracle’s Web ADI. PROCESS Open the Excel app and click “Options” in the bottom left corner. Click “Trust Center” on the left side panel and click “Trust Center Settings” Click “Active X Settings” and ensure your settings match the ones below. Then, click “Macro Settings” and ensure your settings match the ones below. Then click "OK" Navigate to the Control Panel. Click “Network and Internet”. Click “Internet Options”. Open the “Security” tab, select “Trusted Sites”. and click “Sites”. In the “Add this website to the zone” section, add https://oracleprd.mistercarwash.com/. Click “Add”, then click “Close”. Click “OK” to save the changes.

How to configure Excel and SplashBI for Oracle
PURPOSE Install and authenticate the SplashBi excel plugin for use with Oracle. PROCESS Log in to SplashBI and download the Excel Plugin for 64 Bit. Double click the SplashBI_ExcelConnect.msi file. A SplashBI Excel Plugin pop up window will appear. Click “Next”. Click “Next”. Click “Next” to start the installation. The installation is complete. Click “Close”. Open a new Excel workbook. Open the “Splash BI” tab. Click “Config”. Click “Create”. Add the following information to the different fields. Then, click “Save”. Instance URL: http://10.162.6.15:8080 Nick Name: Prod SplashBI Root: SplashBI Authentication: Local Logon Click “Close”. Then, click “Login”. Select “Prod”. Enter your Oracle Username and Password and click “Login”.
