PROCESS

  1. Enable the Bluetooth connection on the tablet by clicking the Up arrow on the taskbar.
  2. Press and hold the Bluetooth Devices icon.
  3. Select 'Add a Bluetooth Device'.
  4. On the right panel, click 'Printers & Scanners'. Then, click 'Add a printer or scanner'.
  5. Select the printer you want to pair and click 'Pair'.
  6. When prompted for the printer’s passcode, enter ‘0000’. Then, click ‘Next’. The printer will pair with the tablet automatically.
  7. After pairing, select 'Bluetooth' and click 'More Bluetooth options'.
  8. Once the Bluetooth Settings window opens, click the 'COM Ports' tab.
    • NOTE: Take note of the Outgoing and Incoming port numbers.
  9. Press and hold the Windows menu icon and select 'Device Manager'.
  10. Select 'Ports' and ensure that the Outgoing COM Port is set to correctly:
    • Mister Tablets should be set to COM10.
    • Micrologic Tablets should be set to COM4.
  11. If the Outgoing COM Port does not match, complete the following steps:
  12. Still in Device Manager, double-click the Outgoing COM Port.
  13. Open the 'Port Settings' tab and click 'Advanced'.
  14. Change the COM Port Number to the standard:
    • Mister Tablet set to COM10
    • Micrologic Tablet set to COM4
    • NOTE: If the COM Port is already being used by another port, use the same instructions as above and change the Incoming COM Port to a different one (any COM Port number works) and  set the Outgoing COM Port properly.
  15. Once the COM Port is changed properly, click 'OK' to exit all screens and close out the Device Manager screen.
  16. Restart the tablet for the changes to take effect.
  17. Turn on the printer and test it by reprinting a receipt.
