How to start the LWKiosk software
PURPOSE This document will review the steps to start the Pegasus Payment Kiosk Program. PROCESS From the computer desktop, select the LWKiosk3 icon. The program will launch the Pegasus Payment Kiosk loading screen. When the program completes loading, the ‘Start/Welcome’ screen will appear. If the proximity sensor detects an object in front of it, the Main Menu may also appear. The Kiosk software has now loaded and is ready for use.

How to open/close a shift on the Kiosk
PURPOSE This document will review the steps to open and close a shift on a kiosk. PROCESS Open/Close From the Manager Screen, select the Bill Reset button. To open the shift, select the Open button. Enter the amount added to the bill dispenser. Hit Accept. To close the shift, select the Close button press Accept. Removing Bills/Coins from Acceptors and Dispensers From the Main Menu, tap the upper left and upper right corners of the screen 3 times. From the service window, enter the Manager Code. After entering the Manager Code, enter an Employee Code with permissions to access the Manager Screen. The Manager Screen will appear. Select Bill Reset Select the Removed Bills From Acceptors button, Removed All From Dispensers button, and Removed Coins From Acceptors button. Remove the currency and count the total. To add currency back into the dispensers: Select Amount Added to Coin Dispenser and/or Amount Added to Bill Dispenser. Enter the amount.

How to access manager screen on Kiosk
PURPOSE This section will review the steps to access the manager screens for the Kiosk. This screen allows managers to view and change manager functions. PROCESS From any screen, double click the top left corner of the screen 3 times and then the top right corner of the screen 3 times. Enter the code when prompted for a service code. The Manager Screen can also open by swiping an access card. After the service code is entered, a prompt for a user code will appear. Enter the POS code associated with the user account. A screen will display different manager options. Manager Screen Options RFID Status Tests the RFID Reader. Settings for RFID Reader sensitivity. RFID Tag Status Lists the tags the kiosk has scanned. Selecting a specific tag opens the linked customer’s account and monthly information Bill Reset Allows for the removal of bills from the dispenser. The kiosk can be opened and closed from this screen. Changes to the kiosk sequence can also be made from this screen. Rewashes Screens vary on a site-by-site basis. A macro setup is required for each service the site offers. Selecting a service will send a rewash. To return to the Customer Screen, hit Go Back.

How to open a closed Kiosk
PURPOSE If your Kiosk screen appears as below, follow the process outlined below to open the Kiosk back up to normal operation. PROCESS Login to the POS terminal. Click on ‘Setup’ in the top middle of the screen. Next, select ‘Kiosk’ in lower left corner of the screen. Press the Red ‘Kiosk Closed’ button. The button should now turn green as shown below, showing it is open. The Kiosk can take up to one minute for the screen to go back to normal.
